Committee:
Sponsorships
Responsibilities:
- Assist with refinement of sponsorship plans and benefits
- Establish relationships with potential sponsors
- Solicit paid and in-kind sponsorships for chapter events and publications
Time commitment: 5 to 15 hours per month
Committee: CareerLink
Responsibilities:
- Assist in refining CareerLink plan
- Establish relationships with potential advertisers and solicit job postings for CareerLink
- Represent CareerLink as a member benefit
Time commitment: 5 to 15 hours per month
Committee: Education
Responsibilities:
- Liaison with student members
- Set up seminars and educational events
Time commitment: 5 to 15 hours per month
Committee: Roundtables
Position title: Roundtable Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Help formalize roundtable program
- Answer website inquiries about the roundtables
- Coordinate monthly roundtable reporting
- Participate in quarterly roundtable manager meetings
Time commitment: 5 to 10 hours per month
Committee: Programs
Position title: Program Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Help to develop Program plan and target speakers and/or companies for monthly luncheon programs
- Solicit presentations from target speakers
- Evaluate proposed presentations
- Participate in Programs committee discussions
- Manage speaker logistics to make program successful
Time commitment: 5 to 15 hours per month

Responsibilities:
- Interact with Board members and other volunteers to clarify information
- Write and/or edit information submitted for posting to the website
- Post monthly information to website
Time commitment: 5-15 hours per month
Committee: Membership
Acquisition
Responsibilities:
Are you a lead generation pro or trying to become one? Put your
skills to work helping BMA with member acquisition.
Responsibilities could include:
- Develop pool of prospects that match chapter goals
- Work with promotions to promote to prospects
- Develop membership promotions and special pricing/offers
- Respond to member inquiries for information
- Engage new members in organization
- Participate in monthly membership committee meetings
Time commitment: 5 to 8 hours per month

Retention
Responsibilites:
Interested in CRM and customer retention? Cut your teeth by
helping NorCal BMA build a member retention plan, and then help
execute it! Activities might include:
- Send renewal messages
- Contact lapsed members
- Create touch points throughout member lifecycle
- Participate in monthly membership committee meetings
Time commitment: 5 to 8 hours per month

Services
Responsibilities:
Want to help yourself and others get the most out of their BMA
membership? Collaborate with the membership committee on member
benefits and then help turn plans into reality, with activities
that might include:
- Help check in luncheon attendees
- Coordinate table hosts and greeters
- Develop annual member directory
- Conduct annual member survey and publish results
- Participate in monthly membership committee meetings
Time commitment: 5 to 8 hours per month
