Branding Roundtable
A name is not a brand, but it is a powerful handle and shortcut for describing the brand’s promise.
We all know a brand can dramatically shorten the sales cycle, results in better negotiating terms and allows a company to command higher prices with the end users. Good companies and good products might succeed regardless of what you call them, but we are selling to humans, and humans react to known names and entities in a much quicker and more open manner. Brands are made in the mind of the customer, and your name is your most powerful weapon in winning mindshare. It often ends up becoming one of your company’s most valuable assets.
The name is the brand handle, but where do we go to get good names anymore? How do we create them, how do we check them, and how do we have some fun with them? At this NorCal BMA roundtable we will discuss and compare consumer names vs. high tech names through stories and insights to help you chart these challenges.
