She has been working with the Northern California chapter of the Business Marketing Association since 2003 as a writer and editor, contributing to the establishment of a "look and feel" for the chapter and has served as NorCal BMA Vice President of Communications for the past year. A MarCom Specialist at QuickLogic, she is a member of the team supporting QuickLogic’s sales/marketing strategy transition including redefining messaging and literature to target specific markets, and creating a new plan regarding trade shows and speaking events. Christine has her own consulting company, CWG Consulting, holds an MBA in Global Strategic Management from Dominican University of California, and is a member of the BMA. She is managing NEC Electronics Fiber Optic Device Strategic Business unit and is responsible for business activities in Americas. Previous to this she was Sr. Staff Applications engineer for the product line. Prior to joining CEL Mariam was Japanese government (Monbusho) Scholar student and she was engaged in research of guided-wave optical components. Mariam holds M.Sc. in Physics from Tbilisi State University, Georgia and M.E. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ehime University, Japan. Mike graduated from San Jose State University in 1978 with a B.A. degree in Business/Marketing. He has been a BMA member for the past seven years and previously served as V.P. of Membership. She is also an active volunteer and has recently joined the Taproot Foundation, a service grant program providing professional services to non-profit organizations.
